Vivid Illumination designs lighting for Open Door Church, San Mateo, CA
San Mateo, CA - Open Door Church, a campus of Menlo Park Presbyterian Church of Menlo Park, CA. has just completed renovation of a new worship space.
Previously meeting in a high school, Open Door Church decided a permanent location was in order and found a new location that was previously used as offices. After extensive renovations Open Door Church has a new sanctuary that holds approximately 350 people.
Novo Group, Inc. was the AVL design build firm hired to provide audio, video, and lighting for the new space. Vivid Illumination was subcontracted to provide the lighting design and oversee the final installation of equipment as well as provide testing, programming, and training.
Equipment in the installation includes ETC dimming and fixtures, Performance Electric power distribution, Pathway Connectivity DMX data distribution, Seachanger color changers, and Elation LED lighting, all controlled from a Jands Vista S3 control console using a Mac Mini CPU.
